· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The Karateghinsky, Peter 1, Darvazsky and Khozratishoh mts.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Xerophytic slopes up to 2,200 m a.s.l. Flight period: July-August.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. S. orphei, S. ferula: UPF eye-spots well-developed and centred with white pupils.
