· TYPE LOCALITY. "...von der Sudseite des Ararat" [Mt. Ararat, Turkey].

· RANGE. Confined to E. Turkey and SW. Transcaucasia.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The Caucasus Minor - the nominate subspecies; the Armenian Highland - ssp. karsicola Gross, 1978.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Stony slopes at 1,500-2,500 m a.s.l. Flight period: July-September.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. P. daghestana: UNH veins grey and inconspicuous.
