· TYPE LOCALITY: "Thianchan mer. occ.: Taschkend..." [Kuraminsky Mts., W. Tian-Shan, Uzbekistan].

· RANGE. W. and N. Tian-Shan (Zailiisky Alatau).

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The nominate subspecies inhabits W. Tian-Shan, while the taxon bogutena Lukhtanov, 1994 has been described from the spurs of Zailiisky Alatau (the Boguty Mts.).

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Rocks and stony screes at 1,500-2,000 m a.s.l. Flight period: end of June to July.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. P. kusnezovi: UNF with a red-brown band.
