· TYPE LOCALITY. "...circa Maracanda in monte Tschupanata (2630's.m.)" [Mt. Chapan-Ata near Samarkand, Uzbekistan].

· RANGE. Ghissar-Alai, Darvaz (the Peter 1 Mts.).

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Mountain meadows at 1,000-2,500 m a.s.l. Flight period: June.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. P. horaki: FW apex pointed; UPH without red-brown band; UNS ocelli smaller; male with an androconial spot.
