· TYPE LOCALITY. "...Zouvant, partie aride des montagnes de Talyche" [Talysh Mts., Zuvand, Azerbaijan].

· RANGE. Confined to the Talysh Mts. and N. Iran (the western part of the Elburs Mts.).

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Forest edges and clearings with rich grassy vegetation near the upper forest line (1,000-1,500 m a.s.l.). Flight period: May-July. Hibernation larval.
