· TYPE LOCALITY. "...montagnes boisees du Khanat de Talyche" [Talysh Mts., Zuvand, Azerbaijan].

· RANGE. Confined to the mountains of S. Transcaucasia (the southern slopes of the Zanghezursky Mts., the Talysh Mts.), E. Turkey, N. and W. Iran.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Arid open habitats characteristic of these areas, up to 100-1,500 m a.s.l., sporadically in the forest belt. Flight period: June-July. Host plants (Nekrutenko, 1990; Hesselbarth et al., 1995): Agropyron and probably other grasses. Hibernation as eggs.
