· TYPE LOCALITY. "...im declivitate septentrionali montium Hissariensium [Iskander-Kul, fluv. Jagnob]" [Yagnob-Darya River near Lake Iskanderkul, Ghissarsky Mts., Tajikistan].

· RANGE. Confined to Ghissar-Darvaz.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. Apart from the type-locality, the nominate subspecies is known also from the Zeravshansky Mts., viz. from the lower flow of Yagnob-Darya River and Pasrud River. The subspecific attribution of individuals from the central part of the Peter 1 Mts. (northern slopes) requires further studies.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. A local species preferring sunny steppe habitats with rich flowering vegetation and exposed stones at 1,800-2,800 m a.s.l. Flight period: June-July.
