· TYPE LOCALITY. "Hadschyabad" [Hadjiabad near Astrabad (Gorgan), N. Iran].

· RANGE. Turkmenia (Kopet-Dagh) and Iran.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The nominate subspecies occurs in the central part of Kopet-Dagh.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Eroded stony places with xerophilous vegetation at 1,500-2,200 m a.s.l. Flight period: July-August.
