· TYPE LOCALITY. "regionis alpinae montium Elburs (Demavend)" [Mt. Demavend, Elburs Mts., Iran].

· RANGE. From the Caucasus to N. Iran and Turkey.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. Locally in the Main Caucasian Mt. Range - ssp. sheljuzhkoi Warren, 1935.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Flowery mountain meadows at 2,000-3,400 m a.s.l.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. E. graucasica: UPF red-brown area not reaching the discal vein; genitalia different.
