· RANGE. W. Tian-Shan.
· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The species is endemic to W. Tian-Shan. From the western part of the Talassky Mts., the ssp. kasakstanus 0. Bang-Haas, 1933, and from the Kuraminsky Mts. the ssp. legezina Bergmann, 1995, have been described.
· HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Mountain meadows and stony slopes at 2,500-3,200 m a.s.l. Flight period: June-July. Host plants: Corydalis dawasica, C. ledebouriana.
