· TYPE LOCALITY."Raddeevka" [Radde, Amur region].
· RANGE. Confined to the mountains of the Amur and Ussuri regions and NE. China, N. Korea and Japan.
· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The nominate subspecies flies in the Bureinsky Mts.; the S. Amur region is inhabited by the ssp. litoreus Stichel, 1907; the ssp. maui Sheljuzhko, 1914 occurs in the Sikhote-Ann Mts. See also notes below.
· TAXONOMIC NOTES. The specific rank of P. felderi is considered doubtful by some authors, and the forms constituting this complex are sometimes treated as subspecies of P. eversmanni.
· HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. The nominate subspecies inhabits forest clearings, old fire sites and sparse forests. Flight period: end of June to July. The ssp. maui is associated with mountain streams, forest clearings from 500 m up to the alpine zone. Flight period: July-August. Host plants: Corydalis gigantea.
