Broadleaved or mixed forests. Flight period: June to August. Host plants in Japan (Fukuda et al., 1984): Acerjaponicum and Carpinus cordata; in the Ussuri region (Dantchenko & Nikolaevsky, in press): UlmusJaponica. • SIMILAR SPECIES.
