• SYNONYMS: pfeifferi Bytinsky-Salz et Brandt, 1937.

• RANGE. From SE. Europe (Greece) across Asia Minor to Iran and Israel.

• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The W. Caucasus (Anapa), the Armenian Highland.

• HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Dry habitats at foothills and in the mountains up to 1,700 m a.s.l. Flight period: June-July.

• SIMILAR SPECIES. T. sylvestris: ground colour clear tawny or yellow, stigma unbroken, long and curved.
