• TYPE LOCALITY. "Fuss des Berges Ulu-Kan; Dzhiptyk - Sary-Tash; Kshtut, Samarkandgebiet; Chamardan, Alai" [W. Ghissar and Alai].

• RANGE. Mountains of Middle Asia and Afghanistan.

• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. Ghissar, Alai, Darvaz, the W. Pamirs, Tian-Shan (Fergansky Mts.). It seems fairly constant in appearance; slight variation in size.

• HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Mountain slopes and river valleys up to 2,500 m a.s.l. Flight period: June-July.

• SIMILAR SPECIES.T. lineola: UPF stigma short and straight, HW outer edge smooth, antennal club short.
