SYNONYMS: ornatus Bremer, 1861.

RANGE. The Amur basin; E. China, Korea, Japan.

DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The S. Amur and Ussuri regions. Constant in external features.

HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Humid meadows. Flight period: June-July. Host plants (Fukuda et al., 1982): grasses [Miscanthus sacchariflorus, Setaria, Fragmites spp.).
