• TYPE LOCALITY. . "Japon" [Itsu Peninsula, Honshu, Japan].

• RANGE. E. Asia from Burma and S. China to Mongolia, the Amur region, Japan and Taiwan.

• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The Amur region to the S. Ussuri region, populated by the nominate subspecies (= lineata Mabille et Boullet, 1916).

• HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Clearings and edges of deciduous and mixed forests. Flight period: late June to August, suggesting two generations. Host plants: Quercus mongolica (Graeser,1888) and Dioscorea nipponica (Fukuda et al., 1984).
