• TYPE LOCALITY. "...environs d'lrkoutzk et de Kiachta" [Irkutsk; Kyakhta, Transbaikalia].

• SYNONYMS: argenteogutta Butler, 1870.

• RANGE. S. Siberia and Mongolia to central and NE. China.

• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The Altai, the Sayan Mts., Transbaikalia, the Amur region. A highly characteristic species relatively constant in external features.

• HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Dry steppe-clad slopes, ravines and river valleys in mountainous areas. Flight period: May-June.
