• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The ssp. limonia Mell, 1943 inhabits the S. Ussuri region (Khasan District).
• HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Steppe near-shore meadows and sparse oak woodlands. Flight period: end of July to August.
• SIMILAR SPECIES. G. aspasia, G. maxima: UPF ground colour without orange dusting.
