• RANGE . Tundras of the Far East, Chukot Region and N. America.
• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The Chukot and Magadan regions -ssp. gomojunovae Korshunov, 1996.
• HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Lowland and mountain tundras. Flight period: June-July. Host plant (Scott, 1986); Vaccinium uliginosum.
• SIMILAR SPECIES. C. palaeno: larger; UPS dark border wider, reaching the vein Cu2 on HW; genitalia different.
