· TYPE LOCALITY: "Transalai" [Zaalaisky Mts., Alai].

· RANGE. Alai (the Zaalaisky Mts.).

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. Confined to Zaalaisky Mts. only (the Aram-Kunghei Gorge).

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Edges of screes at 3,000-3,600 m a.s.l. Flight period: July-August.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. P. hades: apex of FW rounded, eye-spot elongated with two white pupils, white dots on UNH well-developed.
