Pseudochazara guriensis (Staudinger, 1878) · TYPE LOCALITY. "Abbastuman, Achalzich" [Guri near Akhaltsikhe, Meskhetian Mts., Georgia]. · SYNONYMS: rjabovi (Sheljuzhko, 1935); tshetverikovi (Sheljuzhko, 1935); olga (Gerhard, 1882). · RANGE. The Caucasus Major and Minor. · TAXONOMIC NOTES. The interrelations between this species and P. alpina are not quite clear yet. There are different views, up to regarding these taxa as conspecific. A lot of material must be examined to arrive at a final conclusion. · HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Stony slopes at 1,000-2,400 m a.s.l. Flight period: July-September. · SIMILAR SPECIES.
