· TYPE LOCALITY. "Chitral, 13000f" [Pass Chitral, Pakistan].

· RANGE. The Himalaya, Hindu Kush, the Pamirs.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. From the E. Pamirs, the ssp. pamira (J.J. Shchetkin, 1989) has been described, the taxonomic status of which requires clarification.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Mountain ridges and stony plateaus at 3,700-4,700 m a.s.l. Flight period: end of July to early August.
