· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Lowland and shrubby tundras. Flight peri-od: June.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. O. taygete: UNS wavy pattern less strongly deve-loped; UNH outer edge of band more even, as a rule; UPS with neither yellowish bands nor eye-spots.
