· TYPE LOCALITY. "Raddeevka" [Radde, S. Amur region].

· RANGE. The Amur region and E. China to Korea and Japan.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The E. Amur and Ussuri regions, represented by the nominate subspecies.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Dry thin forests and shrubby habitats; flight period: July-August. Host plants in Japan: Poa ochotensis, P. angustifolia, Brachypodium etc. (Fukuda et al., 1983).

· SIMILAR SPECIES. K. epimenides: UPS ground colour of male dark grey; UNF dark basal band within the cell strongly curved and its lower end directed to the base of the wing.
