· TYPE LOCALITY. "Issyk-Kul" [Terskei-Alatau Mts.].

· RANGE. Confined to Inner Tian-Shan.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. Known only from the northern slopes of the Terskei-Alatau Mts. in the eastern part of Lake Issyk-Kul as well as from the southern spurs of the Baidulu Mts. Individuals from the latter locality differ from the types in having a much less strongly developed androconial area. A single male from the Kirghizsky Mts. has been found in the collection of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, but this record requires confirmation.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Steppe habitats with exposed rock at 1,200-2,600 m a.s.l. Flight period: July-August.
