· TYPE LOCALITY. Bala Quran, Anjuman Valley, Hindu-Kush, Afganistan.

· RANGE. From Afghanistan across the W. Pamirs to Transalai.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The nominate subspecies occurs in N. Afganistan and in the W. Pamirs; Darvaz, the Zaalaisky Mts. and the southern slope of the Alaisky Mts. - ssp. transalaica Lukhtanov, 1996.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Eroded stony places with xerophilous vegetation at 2,000-3,000 m a.s.l. Flight period: July-August.
