· TYPE LOCALITY. Kazakhstan, Syrdaryinsky Karatau Mts., upper reaches of Boyaldyr River, 40 km north of Kentau.

· RANGE. Confined to NW. Tian-Shan (the Karatau, Boroldaitau and Talassky mts.).

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. A local species associated, like H. murzini, with dry stony and rocky habitats at 1,300-2,000 m a.s.l. Flight period: mid-June to the beginning of August.

· SIMILAR SPECIES. H. murzini, H. prasolovi, H. tristis, H. dysdora: UPS with an ochreous area.
